Sundogs beautiful 10 acre forest leads you down to the Rocky Marsh Run creek. The forest is made up of diverse hardwood wood species including sycamore, hickory, oak, beech, and maple. The forest floor is covered in ferns and leaf litter and numerous beautiful rock outcroppings. Native viburnum, redbuds, dogwoods, pawpaws and persimmons congregate at the sunnier edges. The forest provides a wonderful habitat for wild turkeys, wood thrush, woodpeckers, raccoons, and red shouldered hawks. The valley glen is a great place to escape the warmer days and enjoy quiet and solitude with the babbling Marshy Rock Run in the background.
